he spent a lot of time in north carolina and florida. i am surprised he didn't spend more time in the state of georgia, a state that is under certain scenarios, all of the growth when you look at the census, the african-american and hispanic growth in the state of georgia. there's a lot of things he could have done differently, when it comes to building different and better coalitions in washington, finding his own versions of moderate republicans to come with him. the question is, did he learn lessons if he wins a second term? and maybe are there better ways of building coalitions outside of washington, trying to go to certain places and certain states and trying to overperform in certain states. >> if he wins on tuesday night, he was able to get support because of things he did, killing bin laden, helping out hispanic kids brought to this country at an early age, these are things he did, the thing he did with governor christie the other day, these are actual doing things. >> i think the lesson is, if he wins one of the top two or three

it's florida, it's virginia, it's new hampshire. why? he needs those three states plus either ohio or pennsylvania in order to get to his magic number. >> all right. so what's the route that they like to get to 270? start with the president. >> well, i'm going to give you the simplest routes for both of them. and for the president, it's that midwestern firewall. pennsylvania here. i think they believe that's in their case. so if that's the case and you give the firewall to the president, you see iowa is a luxury here. he is either at 271 before you put iowa there if you put ohio and wisconsin. watch the numbers here if you will. now, the simplest way for mitt romney, florida and virginia. it also means new hampshire. it also means colorado. and then if he is putting pennsylvania in play, it's one of these states. if you look here, that's the importance of pennsylvania. wisconsin might be enough. he could lose ohio, iowa, and pennsylvania and get there.be the problem is, wisconsin is looking like a state of the same day registration state

navy holds off florida atlantic 24-17. navy gets its sixth win of the season and is bowl eligible, they'll be playing december 29 in san francisco against a team from the pac-12. coming up today at 6:00, we'll look at the ravens-browns game and more for you on ravens wrap following sunday night football. we'll see you then. >> it is good football weather for a pot pie. tell us where richardson farms is? >> located at white marsh a mile from the mall. >> chilly the next couple of days, watching for the coastal storm midweek. >> go ravens! so, maybe you're trying to figure out question seven. well, let me give it a shot. if you're ok with marylanders spending five hundred and... fifty million a year gaming in other states, fair enough. but if you think we should keep that money here... add twelve thousand jobs, and generate millions for schools... well you should probably vote for question seven. because if it doesn't pass, all of this goes away. that's why the post called seven, common sense. but decide for yourself.

he said virginia and florida would be tough, as well. did you notice the discordance on the right wing of getting along with the other side? on the one hand, the romney is saying we should get along with the other side saying he could work with a republican congress. of course he can, he's a republican. then you have rupert murdoch trashing the governor of new jersey for the same thing, working with the other side. the times of london endorsed obama, so what's going on with rupert murdoch in this thing? >> i've been shocked how much the christie -- the photos of christie and obama has shaken the republican party. he says look, i think you should be able to compliment the president of the united states when he does a good job. are you surprised that the republicans have been so transparent how shaken they've been by chris christie? >> somebody in the romney camp is so angry at governor christie that they're leaking out the word that the reason he worked on hurricane relief with the president, as if he needed some other motive, is because
